Dear Sir/Madam, This is a 4th year Egyptian Muslim student, studying Business Informatics at the German University in Cairo. Last semester I had written a seminar paper entitled "Approaches for enhancing Web Data Utilization", the paper addressed some approaches from which was the Semantic web applications. This semester, we are having a Bachelor project; me and one of my friends are interested in Semantic Web Applications. We have an idea, and we need your help. The idea is to implement an application that can be integrated with any research repository, this application will ask the user to enter the citation and keywords of a Paper in a form. The application should be able to link this Paper to the Web of Data, using very simple RDF like - [Object] [Is written by] [author1] - [Object] [Is written by] [author2] - [Object] [ has a keyword] [keyword1] - [Object] [ has a keyword] [keyword2] - [Object] [ published in] [magazine1] The application should also be able to generate some candidate matches that are confirmed by the user, to be able to achieve the state of being linked by generating RDF like [author1] [same as] [http://......] We are very new to Semantic Web, and we do not know if this is applicable or not. Though, we think this will be adding value, as it will facilitate linking Publications. So would you please tell us, will you be able to help us? Thank you, Regards, Mariam Abed
