Hi. We're elaborating a first draft of the specs for an Ontology meant to describe software development forges and projects hosted in forges. It mainly describes only very basic facts about highest-level entities in forges : tools and projects (and people). Several use-cases can be described, mainly : * adding Linked-Data / Semantic-Web metadata production in the forge interfaces (RDFa, etc.) * using a common language to describe forge projects or forge structure in export formats (first priority for us at the moment) * ... I'd like to receive comments on what's wrong / missing / unclear. It heavily depends on SIOC, and reuses DOAP to some extent, of course. You'll find an early draft in 2 files I just uploaded to https://forge.projet-coclico.org/frs/?group_id=8&release_id=2 (OWL and HTML "autodocs"/specs) And also a more detailed diagram and docs in https://forge.projet-coclico.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/wp2/index.php/Forge_Ontology_Proposal Ultimately, we'd like to implement this for fusionforge projects, which would help integrating software development forges as contributors to the Semantic Web, allowing things like direct linking to artifacts produced in the forges, forge projects, navigating, and other QA applications that would be SemWeb aware. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
