Hi Terry,

DBpedia and LOD(.openlinksw.com) are powered by Virtuoso, which has a
SPARQL endpoint that can speak JSON. You can take it from there.

The docs above refer to the SPARQL endpoint at demo.openlinksw.com,
but they might as well be talking about:
* http://dbpedia.org/sparql
* http://lod.openlinksw.com/sparql

SPARQL is SQL for linked data.
