Brilliant, thanks Yves, Hugh and others for the additions to the list - this is shaping up into a really nice resource. I think that the republishing you've done of existing data Hugh is really valuable, and agree that ultimately we want this to move to the data owners. For now lets keep track of both types of data sets at the community.linkeddata wiki. Cheers, Tom. -----Original Message----- From: public-lod-request@w3.org on behalf of Yves Raimond Sent: Wed 6/18/2008 11:48 To: public-lod@w3.org Subject: Re: Linked Data Shopping List Hello! >> Tim just gave a great keynote here at Linked Data Planet here in NYC, >> including highlights such as stating again that Linked Open Data is "the >> semantic web done right", and "a paradigm shift all over again" - great >> encouragement (not that we need any ;) for all the hard work put in by >> everyone in the LOD community :) >> >> One of the other things Tim raised was the idea of having a "Linked Data >> Shopping List", capturing government, commercial or community data sets that >> we want to see published as Linked Data, perhaps as a basis for some kind of >> campaign/initiative to pursue this.
