-------- Original Message -------- Subject: [uk-government-data-developers] Linked open data for libraries, archives, museums meetup: tomorrow 7pm, London Date: Mon, 11 Jul 2011 12:48:50 +0100 From: Mia <mia.ridge@gmail.com> Reply-To: uk-government-data-developers@googlegroups.com To: uk-government-data-developers@googlegroups.com Sorry for the short notice and the cross-post, but there's a LOD-LAM (Linked Open Data for Libraries, Archives and Museums) meetup tomorrow, at the Shooting Star pub in London (125 Middlesex Street, E1, near Liverpool St station). Come to hear some of the results from the LOD-LAM workshop (http://lod-lam.net/summit/about/) in San Francisco last month and give your perspective on it all. To discuss: * what was learnt from LOD-LAM that's useful for the UK museums, libraries, archives sectors and users of their data? * is there interest in a UK-based event, either before or after DC2011 in the Hague September 21-23 or around UK Museums on the Web (#ukmw11, November 25). Optional-but-nice RSVP at http://lanyrd.com/2011/lodlamlon-july/ or LOD-LAM London meetup (this page will also be updated with notes after the event). Venue: Shooting Star pub, London. The Shooting Star is at 125-129 Middlesex Street, London, E1 7JF (very near Liverpool Street Station). The pub serves food, directions at http://www.fancyapint.com/pubs/pub785.php.
