According the resolution of ISSUE-179 [1] the Algorithms section in the JSON-LD API document has been placed before the API section. The API section is normative, but the conformance section makes it clear that implementers MAY provide their own API that is compliant with the Algorithms. This is issue is related to ISSUE-178 [2] "Consider renaming JSON-LD API to JSON-LD Core Processing" but decision on that issue has been deferred till all other issues have been resolved. Unless I hear objections, I will close ISSUE-179 in 24 hours.
