Adding one-line linking to the context in an existing JSON file should not be difficult nor break existing tools, but completely hiding it may even be easier. Using a header definition as in JSON schema could make that work http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-zyp-json-schema-03#section-4.1 Is that what you have in mind ?
