Now, that we achieved consensus regarding the name of the spec, I think we should discuss the name of the Internet Media Type (MIME type). I could imagine using: 1) application/jsonld 2) application/json-ld 3) application/jsonld+json 4) application/json-ld+json 5) application/linkeddata+json 6) application/linked-data+json 7) application/ld+json Would be using "text" instead of "application" an option? E.g. text/json-ld+json I would also propose to define a media type parameter such as "context" to be able to directly link to a context document in a HTTP header and thus eliminating the need of @context in the JSON document itself. -- Markus Lanthaler @markuslanthaler
