Introduction

Folks -

I've recently (along with Ashok Malhotra) joined the group representing 
Oracle.  My research, professional background, and work at Oracle and 
elsewhere <http://www.linkedin.com/in/rbfar> pertain to A.I. (search and 
sem tech as subtopics), mobile computing, and distributed computing.  I 
look forward to collaborating with this team and hopefully bringing some 
of the experiences in previous standardization efforts that I've been 
directly or tangentially involved to help us get to a standard that is 
friendly to implementers and becomes pervasive and do it expediently.
