#116: logical order and 'read' order Comment (by masinter@…): Editorially the next sentence too "The visual order represents the order the characters are drawn on a computer display or printout in the way a human expects to read them." => "The visual order is the order in which the characters appear (or are expected to appear) on a computer display or printout." That is, the visual order may not be correlated with the temporal order in which characters are made visible on the display, but the geometric order in which they are presented.
