#54: Give more details about what 'provisional' status means Mykyta Yevstifeyev in particular (see e.g. http://www.ietf.org/mail- archive/web/apps-discuss/current/msg02272.html) has brought up the question of what exactly the 'provisional' status is meant for. The word seems to imply that this is a temporary status, and that sooner or later, schemes have to move either to historical or permanent. A clarification might help (e.g. that schemes can stay in 'provisional' for an indefinite time). -- ------------------------------------+--------------------------------------- Reporter: duerst@… | Owner: Type: defect | Status: new Priority: major | Milestone: Component: 4395bis | Version: Severity: - | Keywords: ------------------------------------+--------------------------------------- Ticket URL: <http://trac.tools.ietf.org/wg/iri/trac/ticket/54> iri <http://tools.ietf.org/bof/iri/>
