using existing wallets with ILP

Is it possible to use ILP with existing multi-asset wallets? If so, would each individual wallet need an ILP address or just the wallet provider? We have a mobile wallet that’s written in JavaScript that can be placed in a browser to receive web payments, but I’m trying to understand how/if ILP is an improvement and whether or not it’s something we can incorporate.
