By the time I finish reading the sub-level implications of each choice combination, I'm no longer certain which combination I prefer, or even if there is a combination that is desirable. Given the complexities of the combined choices, I think the results may be equally difficult to understand.

Hi James -

We tried to pose questions in a manner more similar to your proposal a
month ago:

https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/54997/201503_planning/results

Unfortunately, we did not get a clear direction from that survey and
subsequent discussion, inside the IndieUI WG and other related fora. So
we tried to assemble all the known permutations of viable options so
they could be compared / contrasted to to each other as a whole, rather
than just considering individual actions. We knew that resulted in a
complex survey and did our best to mitigate that.

I hope everyone in the group can do their best with the survey. We need
it to feed discussion in tomorrow's meeting. We have been trying for
months to get some resolution on next steps, and now are at the point
that the charter expires Thursday.
