W3C has opened an accessibility engineer position that will impact the IndieUI WG: http://www.w3.org/Consortium/Recruitment/#wai - the title is "Web Accessibility Engineer (2)" It is our expectation that the person who fills this role will take over from me as staff contact to the IndieUI Working Group, and this is specifically mentioned in the description. The position is mainly focused on mobile accessibility and IndieUI is relevant to that. This will also help us to balance our staff responsibilities amongst Working Groups. There will of course be a transition period while the new person gets up to speed, and I expect to overlap the role for some time to help with the transition. Even after that I'll still be around to help out if needed, and in the short term I expect no changes until the new person has come on board. If you know of anybody who would be suitable for this position, please forward the reference to them. The position is based in China at Beihang University, so candidates would need to have work authorization there.
