Hi all, For those who were not present during yesterday's TPAC session, here are the minutes: http://www.w3.org/2013/11/13-inbandtracks-minutes.html In summary, what I reported during the plenary was: - good discussion, lots of participants (26) - scope: we agreed to make the scope as large as possible, covering all media 'container' formats (MP4, Matroska/WebM, MPEG-2, RTP, DASH, HLS, ...), but we will work only on formats for which we have actual contributions. - tasks: we agreed to work on the following (in the order of priority) 1. Mapping of container metadata (e.g. descriptors, ...) onto HTML Tracks interfaces 2. Mapping of media tracks onto HTML Tracks interfaces 3. Improving the use of media track data by JS applications, in particular regarding synchronization Feel free to comment.
