Re: Open Geospatial Consortium's GeoPose Presentation

Hi, All.

As a note, Brainwaive is a member of the OGC and we are Charter Members of
the GeoPose SWG. We have also been working with the OGC Innovation Director
(Josh Lieberman - one of our advisors) and OGC COO (Scott Simmons) to
initiate a WebXR Test Bed focused on an electric utility field worker use
case. If you are interested in information about any of the OGC projects, I
would be happy to facilitate. It is often the case that the OGC seems to
have done work a decade ago that many in the AR community is only recently
beginning to investigate (point cloud applications, localization, indoor
navigation, injection and visualization of 3D content with GIS data, data
rights management, and more).

For those who may be unaware, Cesium <https://cesium.com/> - an active OGC
member - has created an extraordinary open-source platform for global
geospatial and 3D content. Exciting achievements that are rapidly working
in our direction. They recently added integration with Unreal Engine, among
other things. Worth a look, if you haven't checked them out lately.
