Hello, immersive web folks. After a few conversations (including in this Issue <https://github.com/immersive-web/proposals/issues/47>) I've created a new GitHub repository to incubate a feature for the WebXR Device API that will expose geometry like planes, point clouds, and meshes derived from the real world. The feature lead is John Pallet from Google (@johnpallet on GitHub) and he will take the lead in gathering together the right people and finding consensus. If you have questions about why we create feature repos and how they work, check out the proposals repo README <https://github.com/immersive-web/proposals/blob/master/README.md> which has all of the details. As always, if you have questions or comments about how work happens in the CG please do contact me. - Trevor -- *Trevor Flowers* 🌸🌸 trevor@transmutable.com Principal at Transmutable <https://transmutable.com/> Friend of the Wider Web <https://potassiumes.org/wider-web/>
