Dear Immersive Web Working Group, It is my pleasure to announce that an additional W3C Staff Contact will join me in helping this Working Group advance the Immersive Web work on the Recommendation track. Starting from today, Atsushi Shimono <atsushi@w3.org> from our team based at Keio University will work with the Chairs and I on ensuring we follow as smooth a ride as possible in our standardization plans. Atsushi is brand new to the W3C Team, so this will also be a learning experience for him; I trust the group will make him feel welcome. I will let Atsushi introduce himself in more details.
