Re: draft agenda: Joint IDCG-PWECG TPAC meeting, 13 Oct 2020, 2-4pm UTC

Within the scope of creating a more welcoming environment, one thing
I've wondered about for a while is our weakness in recognition programs.

Today we send certificates thanking WG Chairs that step down from their
assignments. But we don't do much more than that. And that is pretty
private - so it has limited impact on community.

If we had some method of recognition, including peer recognition, I
wonder whether that would help our sense of community.

This feels like mostly an IDCG topic (under the subheading of welcoming
W3C), but there could be some PWE sensitivity about how the program is done.

I don't have a proposal at the moment of what to do, but would love to
have input.
