Everyone, The IDCG is teaming up with PWE to continue all our activities as a single CG. The merge is not the end of the W3C's efforts towards better inclusion and diversity. It is a practical step that recognises the significant overlap in membership of the two CG, and the importance of having two co-chairs who are willing and able to lead all our efforts to make W3C more welcoming, diverse, inclusive and positive. Liz Lutgendorff from Government Digital Service (GDS) in the UK (the member organisation known as HM Gov) will join Tzviya Siegman of Wiley Publishing as co-chair of the PWE CG. Plans for early 2021 include creating a charter for the PWE CG that incorporates the goals and activities of both ID and PWE CG, possibly considering a new name for the combined CG, and merging our Github repositories and issues. In the meantime we have much to do, so please continue to work on the actions in the IDCG repository and to discuss issues here if convenient, but please don't forget to join the PWE CG if you're not already a member because that is where future meetings and logistics will be managed. https://www.w3.org/groups/cg/pwe Léonie and Coralie - IDCG co-chairs -- Director @TetraLogical https://tetralogical.com
