Personally, I (as a technical guy) always vote for simple and user 
friendly variants. But the linguists are totally difficult people. I 
think, we are by now still in shadow side, because they will complain to 
hold written language spelling to write. It's also logical and true from 
the linguistic, historical, cultural and anthropological point of views 
but just not for technical and UX sides.
Currently, I am again spoilt for choice which should be marked as 
correct in spell checker software. But it's probably another level of 
discussion.

Correct.
We used FVS3 for this kind of words because such occurrences are very 
rare. Certainly, it's not optimal and to be regulated now, while we have 
accepted to support both variants. I think, it is exactly a case of our 
overriding. Thus, we should use FVS2 for harmonisation or?
