Hi Richard, > Are you trying to rewrite the past? Note that my corrections are for the Q and UVSL columns. I wasn't proposing a change to the NP column. If you want to change the Q's and UVSL's columns it is no matter. If So, I am misunderstanding. Because the Q is similar on spelling to the QA. As I know, it is corrected in GB26226-2010 as attached image. <QA, FVS1> > You've overlooked a few hundred years of history. The encoding isn't just for Modern Mongolian. But the linguists have not researched them deep enough to encode all and it is impacting our daily use. Which is prior to us ? modern or historical ? But we are urgently requiring that the modern Mongolian part is stabilized as soon as possible. Current approach of professor Que is destroying the modern Mongolian harmony to match the historical matters. But he is not clearly counted out all of the historical usage yet according to his declare in his 9th edition. If you need the evidence, I can scan it for you. For historical research we can give them all possibilities even if it is exist or not. Let them use in further research. Maybe someday, some linguists will insist on the final feminine QA exists. Sorry about my misunderstanding. Current acceptable isolate QA is > the masculine initial form. So what does Richard Ishida mean by 'Q: Prof Quejingzhabu's document'? His introduction leads me to believe it is the 蒙古文编码 by Professor Quejingzhabu in 2000. I checked that the relevant encodings were the same in both TR170 and Mengguwen Bianma, and have noted where they are different. Are you trying to rewrite the past? Note that my corrections are for the Q and UVSL columns. I wasn't proposing a change to the NP column. > The feminine QA have same written form with feminine GA and it is > ambiguous. So? The encoding isn't just for Modern Mongolian. Richard.
