I set up this list after talking with Kida-san this morning. He requested a list that jlreq participants could use to circulate ideas (mostly in Japanese) prior to raising them as GitHub issues. This is that list. I will also change the group notifications digest, so that this list receives only Japanese-related notifications. (The first will be a large one, because of the gap-analysis changes i made today, but then they should be smaller and more relevant to this group.) There should be a reduction in noise because of the exclusion of notifications or discussions related to the Chinese and Korean group work. Of course, the disadvantage of excluding the Chinese and Korean data is that where topics of common interest arise they may not come to the attention of this group. I suggest that some people continue to monitor the public-i18n-cjk list and bring relevant topics to the attention of the people on this list. Best wishes for success with this list. Please do remember, however, that we'd like to eventually capture useful information shared on GitHub, in English so that people around the world can learn about and understand the Japanese needs better. ri PS: Kida-san, please feel free to translate this message into Japanese and resend, if you think it will be useful.
