Hi all, QUESTION: If its:param element precedes some xlink:href link to an external rule within the same its:rules element, does that ITS parameter apply to that external rule as well as to other rule elements inside its:rules element? ANSWER by Jirka Kosek: Yes, parameter should apply to external rules as well, because of the following sentence in 5.4: "The rules contained in the referenced document MUST be processed as if they were at the top of the rules element with the XLink href attribute." However spec doesn't define what to do if there are two parameters with the same name. We should define that in the case of naming conflict later definition wins, which will also allow overriding of parameters coming from external rules.
