Hi all, Felix has asked me to send on some notes about the MQM issue types. We had meetings about MQM last week and made some substantial updates to the issue types. Mostly these were simplifications (removing unneeded granularity) and rationalizations that actually help make for a clearer mapping between ITS 2.0 and MQM. The current view can be seen at this URL: http://bit.ly/mqmTypes The biggest change is with regard to the “Internationalization” issue, which previously had been considered a type under Design. However, we realized that it is really a top-level category, so it is now a major branch in the hierarchy. No subtypes are defined for it, although we may define them in the future. This doesn't matter for ITS 2.0 (the mapping is unchanged) and is purely an internal issue for MQM, but Felix wanted me to mention it because of the possibility that some group in the future may define a more granular typology of internationalization errors. -Arle
