Hi Nathan, Felix, Jirka or someone else will correct me if needed, but I think there is no its-version attribute in HTML because only ITS 2.0 can be in HTML so there is (currently) no need for version. But there is no mention of that in the specification. We should probably have something in section 5.1 or 6. Does it exist? I don't see any explicit use of an "its-version" attribute in the HTML examples in the spec, and "its-version" in the <html> element yields an error from the validator (http://validator.w3.org/nu/).
