I just found http://plato.stanford.edu/special-characters.html. This seems to be well done and up to date. We don't have anything like this as far as I know, I guess that's mainly because we are working mostly for authors rather than end users. But it may be worth pointing to, and is even interesting for authors, especially maybe http://plato.stanford.edu/symbols/entities.html and http://plato.stanford.edu/symbols/. This is not exactly internationalization, but having people use Unicode in such contexts will help internationalization, too. Regards, Martin.
