There are problems associated with bolding text or comments in our wikis: eg. incorrect nesting messing things up easily, bolding not applied across more than one block... During our telecon last week we decided to try yet another approach - this has also been adopted by the ITS group. Now we enclose comments in [[ ... ]] marks, with commentor's initials just inside the left brackets. Example: [[RI I like this way of doing comments. Unfortunately, it doesn't stand out as well as bolding, but it works better in other ways.]] We also agreed to try [[RI inline comments]] for small editorial points, eg. proposed wording changes. This is easier with this way of marking up comments. Note that you can easily find all comments by searching on [[ Let's try it and see how it goes. I already implemented it for Susan's http://esw.w3.org/topic/geoGettingStartedwithI18n while adding my comments last week. So look at that for more examples.
