Hello Arabic and Hebrew layout folks, The I18N WG was asked to comment on an OpenUI spec that includes support for using the cursor with focus groups in a bidi context. The page in question lives here: https://github.com/openui/open-ui/blob/main/site/src/pages/components/focusg roup.explainer.mdx The changes that claim to support bidi are here: https://github.com/openui/open-ui/pull/1011/files The issue lives here: https://github.com/openui/open-ui/issues/522 You might want to start by reading issue 522's summary of cursoring. What we're looking for is whether the text that ended up in the explainer above matches what right-to-left language users would expect (and we're aware this might differ by language). Could you review the changes and results and indicate any problems *or* that you think that the solution is the correct one? You might also find useful text to harvest for your respective layout requirements. Our tracking issue is: https://github.com/w3c/i18n-activity/issues/1620 Thanks!!! Addison Addison Phillips Chair (W3C Internationalization WG) Internationalization is not a feature. It is an architecture.
