I18N-ISSUE-288: Letterform differences [.prep-css3-fonts] http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/288 Raised by: Richard Ishida On product: .prep-css3-fonts http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/WD-css-fonts-3-20130711/#typography-background Typography Background Editorial "For example, the Arabic script is shared by Persian and Urdu and Cyrillic is used with many languages, not just Russian." I think this doesn't quite make the point. I would suggest the following replacement: "For example, the Arabic script when used for Persian and Urdu exhibits significant and systematic differences in letterforms, as does Cyrillic when used with languages such as Serbian and Russian."
