Dear DAP WG:

I have been tasked [1] by the I18N WG with pointing out for your review our draft update to our WG-Note on working with time zones. Given our current discussion of calendars, we think this document might be useful as background information. While this document is not yet complete, it does provide some useful illustrations of the kinds of issues that working with time information may present as you consider designs such as those in [2].
