Hello KLReq editors, The Internationalization Working Group has tried a number of times to contact you seeking comments on edits that we have made to the document you helped produce. We recently (see below) published an updated version addressing a few of the comments. However, we still welcome and would enjoy your continued participation in the development of this document. Several outstanding issues remain unaddressed (do you have comments?) and there are open questions that we would like to ensure get appropriate attention by the Web standards community. Can you please: 1. Indicate your future interest or availability to participate in development of this document. 2. Send any comments in support of, opposing, or clarifying the issues listed below. Please accept the thanks of the Working Group for the materials you have provided to date--we greatly appreciate your work. You are always welcome to contribute or comment on future work in this area (subject to contribution rules of the W3C). If you are not able to reply or contribute further, we hope to recruit additional participation and continue development of the document. Regards, Addison Addison Phillips Globalization Architect (Amazon Lab126) Chair (W3C I18N WG) Internationalization is not a feature. It is an architecture. > -----Original Message----- > From: Richard Ishida [mailto:ishida@w3.org] > Sent: Wednesday, April 08, 2015 8:04 AM > To: public-i18n-cjk@w3c.org; chan@etri.re.kr; hykim@incube.co.kr; > nam.dongsun@gmail.com; simwujin@gmail.com; eyongje@gmail.com; > sadian@ksa.or.kr; yongho.lim@gmail.com > Subject: Changes to klreq (Requirements for Hangul Text Layout and > Typography) > > today I moved the editor's draft for Requirements for Hangul Text Layout > and Typography to github at > > http://w3c.github.io/klreq/ > > i also checked the tracker issues at > > https://www.w3.org/International/track/products/42 > > i added two new issues based on comments sent by mail. > > i implemented changes that HyunYoung Kim indicated he wanted to make. > > i put links to the as yet unresolved issues into the document. > > > i have closed the following issues, but will reopen if i hear objections: > > http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/252 > > http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/253 > > http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/254 > > http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/256 > > http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/257 > > http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/258 > > http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/268 > > http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/460 > > http://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/461 > > > There are still a number of outstanding issues, and i urge the Korean editors > to propose resolutions for those, and to update the Korean language version > of the document (which i did not change, other than to add a note to say that > the English is more up-to-date). > > i also added some text to the Status of this Document section to say that > commenters can raise github issues if they prefer, rather than send email > (but i don't yet know how to disable respec's standard clause about email > feedback). > > > ri
