JediLin has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/i18n-drafts: == [questions/qa-address-formats] Post code system in Taiwan == [source] (https://w3c.github.io/i18n-drafts/questions/qa-address-formats.en.html) [en] Taiwan uses a 6-or-3-digit continuous numeric code without separators. The 6-digit code is detailed post code, and the first 3-digit of that post code can be used as brief post code. This post code system thus named "3+3 post code system" in Taiwan. Years ago Taiwan used a similar "3+2 post code system" with 5-or-3-digit continuous numeric code without separators. The 3-digit brief post code remains the same from "3+2" to "3+3" post code system migration. The "3+3" post code system takes effect after 2020-03-03, and the "3+2" post code system is retired since 2024-01-01. From 2020-03-03 to 2023-12-31, the two systems ("3+3" and "3+2") are used in parallel.
