xfq has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/i18n-drafts: == [questions/qa-byte-order-mark] BOM & IE == https://www.w3.org/International/questions/qa-byte-order-mark.en.html#transcoding > Previous versions of Internet Explorer gave the BOM precedence over HTTP, but IE10 and IE11 gave a higher precedence to HTTP. Do we still need to mention IE? IE only has about 0.5% market share now. Can this sentence be removed?
