xfq has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/i18n-drafts: == [articles/inline-bidi-markup/uba-basics] Punctuation as neutral characters? == https://www.w3.org/International/articles/inline-bidi-markup/uba-basics#neutralcharacters > Characters are usually classified as 'weak' when they are associated with numbers. A small number of punctuation characters are initially classed as weak, but in a non-numeric context are treated like neutrals. In consequence, in this article we will refer to all punctuation as neutral characters. Is there a causal relationship between the first two sentences and the third sentence? I don't see it.
