Re: [jlreq] List and list marker layout (#449)

Fyi, lists with counters, especially long ones, are often found in the endnotes and bibliographies of scholarly articles. Japanese vertically-set and free/open access samples can be found at [J-STAGE](https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/).

1. Go to [Advanced search](https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/search/global/_search/-char/en)
2. Enter keywords related to Japanese traditions
3. Apply the following Filters:
    - Publication type
        - Journal
        - Research Report/Technical Report
    - Access type
        - Free access
        - Open access
    - Subject area
        - Humanities and Social Sciences
            - Literature, Language & Linguistics and Art

Keywords related to Japanese traditions include:
- Ninja (忍者)
- Murasaki Shikibu (紫式部, Lady Murasaki)
- The Tale of Genji (源氏物語, Genji monogatari)
- The Pillow Book (枕草子, Makuranososhi)
- Ukiyo-e (浮世絵)
- Ikebana, Kado (華道)
- Gagaku (雅楽)
- Noh, Kyogen (能楽, 狂言)
- Haiku (俳句)
