``` 这是<ruby>汉<rp>(</rp><rt>Hàn</rt><rp>)</rp>字<rp>(</rp><rt>zì</rt><rp>)</rp></ruby>。 ``` Copying 这是<ruby>汉<rp>(</rp><rt>Hàn</rt><rp>)</rp>字<rp>(</rp><rt>zì</rt><rp>)</rp></ruby>。 gets `这是汉Hàn字zì。` in Chrome. I think most people expect `这是汉(Hàn)字(zì)。`. If `<rp>` tag is designed only for compability, then we should discuss what it will yield when there is no `<rp>` tag. Currently there is no way to control what being copied using CSS. -- GitHub Notification of comment by OverflowCat Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/clreq/issues/574#issuecomment-2614150245 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
