xfq has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/clreq: == Remove a checkme in 3.1.6.2 == https://www.w3.org/TR/clreq/#h-adjustment_of_adjacent_punctuation_marks Current text: > The adjustment in principle should be: if any two adjacent punctuation marks take 2 em, they should be reduced to 1.5 em. Based on this principle, the typography style is allowed to be further adjusted so that the two punctuation marks take only 1 em. Suggestion from @r12a: > In principle, any two adjacent punctuation marks that are 2 em wide should be reduced to 1.5 em. Following the same principle, they may be reduced to 1 em for certain typographic styles.
