kidayasuo has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/jlreq-d: == Informative notes: ruby overhang on digital media == On print there is a motivation to save space because of the cost of paper. It is one of the merit of ruby overhang. Bin-sensei is not sure if it still is worth doing on digital where space is not much of an issue. However it would be hard to conclude that the overhang is unnecessary on digital, it can be beneficial to add such a discussion as an informative note. from JLReq TF meeting on 2023-4-11.
