Hello Richard, Charles, Is this a question about zero-width space to control script connection? If so, Adlam and N'ko have more consistent letter connection behavior than Arabic so you don't have to insert zero-width spaces to alter shaping behavior. The exception is with programs like InDesign that don't really recognize N'ko or Adlam properly. Then you have to insert zero-width-non-joiners after letters at the end of the word that also have a diacritic and in between words and script specific punctuation. So far with 'Ajami we haven't seen the a need for it if the shaping engine is following the Arabic.txt guidelines. -Neil On Fri, Jul 5, 2019 at 12:25 PM Riley, Charles <charles.riley@yale.edu> wrote: > Hi Richard, > > > > Sorry for the delay in responding on the zero width space question.
