Hydra collection discovery parameters

Hi,

When requesting a collection for discovery to retrieve the TemplatingLink​, we're usually fetching a Collection​. To mitigate calls to the database, we're considering adding a parameter to reduce the number of members that are fetch.
That being said at the moment of the discovery we can't know for sure how this parameter is called (could be itemsPerPage​, nbItems etc.).
Should we use the [IriTemplate Operation](https://www.hydra-cg.com/spec/latest/core/#iri-template-operations) on the documentation directly so that we already use this query parameter? I'm also wondering how the client should know what value, or type of value the defaults should be, especially while discovering URIs.

Did you encounter the problem as well and what where your solutions?
