This is a very important point and a key advantage to the other JSON-RPC approaches we've been discussing. Hydra is an excellent starting point. It should remain agnostic to the use case, i.e. applicable to an agentic system, a traditional hypermedia API, or any other RESTful system. This isn't enough however. What I think is needed are guidelines on how to use Hydra to build a language for agents, e.g. a standardised way to express concepts we find in MCP like prompts and tools, but extensible to express any other innovation that may come up in the future.
