Hi Markus, It has been awhile since I we started this thread. I have been busy on other projects during this time. However, I would like to answer some of your questions. Our implementation of Hyrda for Tripal was not fully complete when I first sent the email below and we didn't have a working demo at the time. We now do! Hyrda-based RESTful web services are part of our new Tripal v3 version which is approaching stability and we expect a stable release in the coming months. If you'd like to check out a demo of Tripal v3 you can find it via the 'Demo Site' link on the http://tripal.info website or here: http://demo.tripal.info/3.x/ The web services are compatible with the HydraConsole so if you're interested you can browse through them with this link: http://www.markus-lanthaler.com/hydra/console/?url=http://demo.tripal.info/3.x/web-services The web services are current read-only. But we'd like to add the ability for full CRUD support. I do have some questions, though, about that. Is the mailing list the proper venue to ask those questions? Apart from that, I'd like to invite you to participate in the further development of Hydra [1] and the reference client implementation [2] on GitHub. What might be interesting would be if you could have a look at the existing use cases [3] (we will use them as base for the implementation of the reference client) and send pull requests if you have requirements which aren't covered by those yet. > > If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. > > > Thanks again for sharing this, > Markus > > > [1] https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__github.com_HydraCG_Specifications&d=DwIFaQ&c=C3yme8gMkxg_ihJNXS06ZyWk4EJm8LdrrvxQb-Je7sw&r=j-ywhwnhi_AAeuA49VAKD_6OCxW3YH40WVtBDjy9t6c&m=SLIcRfYPG8-Kv7uz9_h4E5X6yNvvv39OvQnMGGfPhbU&s=3h33Yi1a99vjw335zIwOKANOjhsXEM_Yds7joWes8xs&e= > [2] https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__github.com_HydraCG_Heracles.ts&d=DwIFaQ&c=C3yme8gMkxg_ihJNXS06ZyWk4EJm8LdrrvxQb-Je7sw&r=j-ywhwnhi_AAeuA49VAKD_6OCxW3YH40WVtBDjy9t6c&m=SLIcRfYPG8-Kv7uz9_h4E5X6yNvvv39OvQnMGGfPhbU&s=b_EYqd9BehhODDXxmmAvLgV-q54XYYa1UqeFnmcLEpo&e= > [3] https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__github.com_HydraCG_Specifications_tree_master_drafts_use-2Dcases&d=DwIFaQ&c=C3yme8gMkxg_ihJNXS06ZyWk4EJm8LdrrvxQb-Je7sw&r=j-ywhwnhi_AAeuA49VAKD_6OCxW3YH40WVtBDjy9t6c&m=SLIcRfYPG8-Kv7uz9_h4E5X6yNvvv39OvQnMGGfPhbU&s=8BXZuAshG-cZifY3SvbCiHLgpMevMdwA_o3ilruQ8Sc&e= > > > -- > Markus Lanthaler > @markuslanthaler > > > -- Stephen Ficklin, PhD Assistant Professor Bioinformatics and Systems Genetics Department of Horticulture Washington State University 153 Johnson Hall Pullman, WA 99164-6414 Office: (509) 335-4295
