Infinite TPF fragments

Hi,

In a recent post [1] Ruben suggested "The number of pages (and next links) per
fragment MUST be finite."

This got me thinking if there are any practical use cases for an infinite
fragment.
And, if so, what would happen if a client encountered one.
Would there be any use of a mechanism to indicate the fragment is infinite to
prevent a client 'dumbly' going into an infinite loop.

An obvious example of such a fragment would be the sequence of prime numbers, or
any other infinite series (Fibonacci, factorial).
Not sure of the practical use of this, but perhaps worth considering.
