Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

The HTML Working Group charter [1] is hereby extended until 30 April 2022.

The mission of the HTML Working Group is to give input to and bring the
WHATWG HTML and DOM Review Drafts to W3C Recommendations.

The group is in the process of drafting a new charter [2]. This
extension will allow additional time for the group to resolve the issues
raised during the horizontal review of the charter.

More information about the HTML Working Group can be found on its home
page [3].

The group is currently chaired by Theresa O'Connor (Apple, Inc.) and
LĂ©onie Watson (TetraLogical).

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact
Xiaoqian Wu, HTML WG Team Contact, at xiaoqian@w3.org.

This extension follows section 4.5 of the W3C Process Document:
https://www.w3.org/2021/Process-20211102/#charter-extension

Thank you,

For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director,
