The Director is pleased to announce the approval of the HTML Working 
Group charter:

This group is chartered until 01 June 2021.

Following the announcement [1] of an agreement between W3C and the 
WHATWG to collaborate on the development of a single version of the HTML 
and DOM specifications, the mission of the HTML Working Group is to give 
input to and bring the WHATWG HTML and DOM Review Drafts to W3C 
Recommendations.

Use the following form to join the group. The form will also instruct 
you how to nominate participants:

The Working Group chairs are Theresa O'Connor (Apple, Inc.) and LĂ©onie 
Watson (TetraLogical). The initial Team Contacts are Michael Smith and 
Xiaoqian Wu with 0.1 FTE.
