Re: [drag-and-drop] include Range of drop target in drag and drop events

I found myself in the same problem for a test I made some weeks ago.
It seems there is no official way to define the drop "position" in the
target text.

Which is quite strange, because some user agents can, in fact, provide
this functionality: in text inputs/texatareas, or when an element is
in content-editable state, text (along with elements and formatting)
can be precisely pasted/drag-dropped where needed, with a text cursor
(a vertical bar) appearing in the nearest available position (next to
the cursor or at the end of the nearest line).
