The HTML WG F2F meeting has recommended a plan of action on removal of features from HTML 5.0 due to lack of interoperability. Those recommendations were summarized in my email so that the entire HTML WG would know about them. As stated in my email [1] the proposed changes will now be reflected in CR bug 24812 [2] by the HTML5 Editors. If anyone has concerns about the retention or removable of specific HTML 5.0 features they can a) respond to this email thread, or b) start a specific new email thread on public-html@w3.org or c) add a response to bug 24812. As usual the Editors will drive this discussion to a point of consensus with the help of the Chairs via bug 24812 which was created for just this purpose. /paulc [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2014Apr/0038.html [2] https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=24812 Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329 -----Original Message----- From: jens.meiert@gmail.com [mailto:jens.meiert@gmail.com] On Behalf Of Jens O. Not sure I overlook something, but who will decide on whether these features do get removed, and when? -- Jens O. Meiert http://meiert.com/en/
