hi all, the following text was recently added to the spec as a note [1]: "Note: Do not use h1–h6 elements to markup subheadings, subtitles, alternative titles and taglines unless they are intended to be the heading for a new section or subsection." feedback has been submitted [2] that suggests the wording is unclear and the intent is unclear (is it advice or a requirement?) My thoughts are that the text should be recast as an author requirement: "Authors must not use h1–h6 elements to markup subheadings, subtitles, alternative titles and taglines unless they are intended to be the heading for a new section or subsection." comments and feedback welcome!
