Wouldn’t the humble <address> be the element in question? <blockquote> is a sectioning element, so in this markup, <blockquote> <p>Clever quote.</p> <address> <p>Somebody, somewhen</p> </address> </blockquote> the <address> would mark up the according info related to the <blockquote>, or am I over-interpreting its scope?
